Probate

Probate refers to the administrative process of settling an estate of a deceased person. A personal representative has duties and power over a probate such as accounting for all property, notifying heirs, paying debts, and distributing estate assets either as described in a will or by the intestate laws of Montana if there is no will.

Many personal representatives are family members or close friends and are grieving while trying to navigate the probate process. Our probate service is aimed at reducing the burden of administering the estate during a period of grief and difficulty.
